This documentary looks at the ex-Afro-American Hebrew Israelites, who moved to southern Israel in 1969 and established communities in Arad, Dimona and Mizpe. The harsh way of life in the US black ghettos and sense of lack of origin drove many to search for answers to the black truth and rediscovery of their lost identity. Today the community has 4,000 members. Originally kidnapped from Africa and sold as slaves to American markets, they believe they are one of the ten lost tribes, descendants from Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. They fast on the Sabbath, speak Hebrew and practise polygamy.
